Test Principle
Installation of catheter clamps in the clamping slots of the clamping system. Adjust the spacing between the two sliding clamps to the specified clamp spacing and then tighten the clamping tabs, ensure that the catheter clamps maintain a good fit. The end of the test catheter is passed from bottom to top through the two catheter clamping tabs, and the upper clamp of the tester holds the head of the catheter. Insert the rest of the catheter into the drum filled with water, hang naturally and soak for the manufacturer's recommended time. Adjust the position of the two sliding clamping blocks in the slots, let the catheter in the central position. Start the tester so that the catheter passes through the silicone sheet a sufficient distance, record force versus displacement curves. Take the average force value of the wetted section of the catheter body on the curve to report the results.
