LEAK-05A Evacuated Receptacle Draw Volume Tester is used to detected the draw volume of Single-use containers for human venous blood specimen collection. The equipment can measure the compliance of vacuum blood collection tube draw volume with standards at different altitudes.

Test Principle
The test blood collection tube is inserted into the puncture site of the test system to maintain the pressure inside the vacuum chamber. Depending on the altitude of the area where the blood tubes are used, the pressure inside the blood collection tubes varies. After 1 min of resting, the volume of the blood tube was determined by measuring the difference in the weights of the blood tubes before and after sampling.
